1.
The dynamics of the adsorption of benzene vapors during a change in the length of the layers of the adsorbent from a one-grain layer up to 160 mm and in the case of indication of the breakthrough concentrations in a broad range (from 10−5 mg/liter to the initial value), was investigated.

2.
A consideration of the general picture of the dynamics of adsorption permitted an arbitrary division of the process of the dynamics of adsorption into three individual stages of displacement of the concentration front along the layer, differing from one another in nature.
