Conclusions
Silicoacetylenic ethers and bromoethers were synthesized by the reaction of silylethynylmagnesium bromides withα-halo ethers. The bromoethers when heated with amines eliminate hydrogen bromide and are converted to the corresponding silicon-containing alkoxyenynes.
