Salts of calcium hydroxide with formaldehyde

Conclusions

We isolated and identified the salt of formaldehyde and Ca(OH)2, which represents a crystalline powder that is easily hydrolyzed in water and contains the components in an equimolar ratio. The kinetic rules of the reaction for the formation of this salt were given.
