Conclusions
-
1.
Under the influence of trinitromethane, theα-dinitromethyl derivatives of cyclic ethers are converted to the corresponding trinitromethyl derivatives.
-
2.
Employing the method of labeled atoms, it was shown that in this reaction the C(NO2)2H group in the starting compound is replaced completely by the trinitromethane C(NO2)3 group.
