Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The EPR method was used to study the reaction of the 2,4,6-tri-tert-butylphenoxyl radical with HCl and HBr.

     
  2. 2.

    The approximate values of the energies of the C-X bonds in the molecules of the 4-bromo- and 4-chloro-2,4,6-tri-tert-butylcyclohexadien-2,5-ones were calculated.
