Isotherms and isosteric heats of adsorption of CO2 and NH3 on synthetic type L zeolites

  • Published:
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Division of chemical science Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

Tae isosteric heats of adsorption of CO2 and NH3 on potassium and sodium-potassium zeolites L and CO2 on partially decationized zeolite L were obtained.

  2. 2.

In the conversion from the K-forms to the Na, K-forms, a pronounced increase in the heats of adsorption is observed.

  3. 3.

The values of the contributions of the specific and nonspecific interactions of CO2 and NH3 on zeolites L in comparison with zeolites of the X-type and decationized mordenite are discussed.
