α-Hydrohexafluoroisobutyryl fluoride — A new system with a labile hydrogen atom

Conclusions

α-Hydrohexafluoroisobutyryl fluoride reacts with triethylamine to form the salt of a stable carbanion, capable of being alkylated, forming homologs.
