Summary
-
1.
As a result of the poly recombination reaction with the aromatic diamines p-phenylenediamine and benzidine polymers of the polyazobenzene type are formed which have high softening points and give narrow ESR signals.
-
2.
A structure is proposed for these polymers, and a possible scheme for their formation is discussed.
