Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Division of chemical science Aims and scope

Summary

  1. 1.

The previously undescribed N,N-bis-2-hydroxyethylcrotonamide and 2,3-dihydroxypropyl crotonate were synthesized and characterized.

  2. 2.

By the migration copolymerization of hexamethylene diisocyanate with N,N-bis-2-hydroxyethylcrotonamide and with 2,3-dihydroxypropyl crotonate we obtained linear polyurethans of a new type containing regularly recurring unsaturated side chains.
