Summary

  1. 1.

A study was made of the rates of polymerization of p-(C4-alkyl)- and p-(C4-alkanoyl)-phenyl methacrylates.

  2. 2.

It was shown how the polymerization rate depends on the structure and nature of the substituent in the benzene nucleus.
