Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The decomposition of isopropanol and tetralin on gallium oxide was studied for the first time.

     
  2. 2.

    Simultaneous dehydrogenation and dehydration of i-C3H7OH with activation energies of 8.3 and 11.5 kcal/ mole, respectively, take place on Ga2C3.

     
  3. 3.

    Pure dehydrogenation of tetralin, activation energy 32 kcal/mole, takes place on Ga2O3.

     
  4. 4.

    The bond energies of the H, C, and O atoms to the active centers of gallium oxide were calculated by a kinetic method.
