Conclusions
-
1.
The influence of the composition and method of preparation of Co catalysts on their activity in the reduction of CO in the hydropolymerization of ethylene induced by it was investigated.
-
2.
The activity of the catalysts in the reduction of CO is influenced by the temperature of the production, the nature and method of introduction of additions of compounds of Groups I and II of the periodic system, and the nature of the carrier.
-
3.
The data obtained indicate the absence of any relationship between the activities of the catalysts and the reduction of CO and in the hydropolymerization of ethylene and between these reactions.
