Conclusions

  1. 1.

A method was developed for the aquametric microdetermination of saturated alcohols using boric anhydride in an inert gas stream.

  2. 2.

The method is applicable to alcohols that distill without decomposition and are not dehydrated on a bed of boric anhydride. The determination error is ±0.4%.
