Conclusions
-
1.
A study was made of the IR spectrum of the hydrate-hydroxyl coating of a mordenite with a variable degree of dealumination, and an assignment was made of the absorption bands in the region of the stretching vibrations of the OH and OD groups.
-
2.
The formation of silanol groups and siloxane bridges occurs during dealumination, in which connection the role of the latter increases with increase in the degree of dealumination.
