Raman spectra of certain hydrocarbons of the benzene series

Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The previously established characteristic group spectral features of 1,4-dialkylbenzenes were refined.

  2. 2.

    The line ∼645 cm−1 is the most suitable for the identification of these hydrocarbons, especially in natural mixtures.
