Conclusions

  1. 1.

The activity coefficients of NaCl in formamide and KCl in N-methylformamide were measured at 25°.

  2. 2.

The change in the free energy of solvation of the ions was determined upon their transfer from water to the indicated solvent at infinite dilution.
