1.
A gas-chromatographic method was proposed for determining oxygen using a flame-ionization detector, after quantitative conversion of the oxygen to carbon monoxide on charcoal and reduction of the carbon monoxide to methane in a stream of hydrogen on a nickel catalyst. The resolution of the method comprises 2.10−9 M oxygen; reproducibility of the results of the analysis ± 5% rel.

2.
An example of the analysis of a mixture of oxygen and hydrocarbons on a chromatographic setup with a flame-ionization detector is cited.
