Preparation of selenides of copper, cadmium, cobalt and nickel by the reduction of selenites in aqueous solutions

Conclusions

On the example of the reduction of the selenious salts of Cu, Cd, Co and Ni it was shown that selenides of stoichiometric composition can be obtained by the reduction of selenites with sodium hydrosulfite in alkaline medium.
