Conclusions

A number of alkyl derivatives of 3-pyrazolidinone [(IIa), (IIb), (IIc), (IIIa). (IIIb), (IIIc), (IVa), (IVb), (IVc), (VIIIb), and (IXb)] and alkiodides of 1,1-dialkylpyrazolinium 3-oxides [(Xb) and (XIb)] were prepared and characterized for the first time.

The structure of the cyclic compounds as 1,1-dimethylpyrazolinium 3-oxides, which are isomers of the 2,2-dimethylhydrazides of the corresponding α, β-unsaturated acids, was proved.
