Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The reduction of butadieneiron tricarbonyl ketones by lithium aluminum hydride to saturated alcohols is described.

     
  2. 2.

    The production of cinnamoylbutadieneiron tricarbonyl by condensation of 1-acetylbutadieneiron tricarbonyl with benzaldehyde is described.
