Interaction of 1, 3-dioxa-2-silacyclanes and their oligomers with alklymagnesium and arylmagnesium halides

Conclusions

Cyclic alkoxysilanes — 1,3-dioxa-2-silacyclanes — and their oligomers are decomposed by organomagnesium compounds with the formation of the corresponding silanols (disiloxanes) and tetraalkylsilanols.
