Synthesis of potassium ozonide from potassium superoxide suspended in Freon-12

Conclusions

A method for the synthesis of potassium ozonide from potassium superoxide suspended in Freon-12 has been developed which enables a product containing ∼80% by weight of KO3 to be obtained without liquid ammonia extraction.
