Summary

  1. 1.

    α-Aryl-N-ethyleneiminocarbinols are obtained by reacting ethyleneimine with aromatic aldehydes.

  2. 2.

    When ethyleneimine reacts withα, β, unsaturated ketones the first stage is addition at the carbon-carbon double bond.
