Summary

  1. 1.

    A study was made of the reaction of ferrocene with chlorine, bromine, iodine, sulfuryl chloride, dioxane dibromide, and quinone in the presence of HC1.

     
  2. 2.

    The most stable of the described ferricinium salts are the ferrichloride, ferribromide, and triiodide.
