Summary

  1. 1.

    We were the first to synthesize the N,N'-methylene- and N,N'-benzylidenebisethylenimines, repeatedly described erroneously in the literature.

  2. 2.

    The structure of the compounds was proved by the NMR, infrared and mass spectra.
