Summary
In contact with active birch charcoal at 470–480° in a stream of nitrogen 2-n-propyl-4,5-dihydrofuran isomerized to propylcyclopropylketone, whereas 2-n-butyl-2,5-dihydrofuran was dehydrogenated to α-butylfuran under the same conditions.
