Summary

  1. 1.

    By the polymerization of allyltrimethylsilane and of allyldimethylphenylsilane in presence of the complex catalyst (i-C4H9)3 Al+TiCl4, high-molecular crystalline polyallyltrimethylsilane and polyallyldimethylphenylsilane can be obtained.

  2. 2.

    A study was made of the effect of the relative amounts of triisobutylaluminum and titanium tetrachloride on the yield and properties of the solid polymers.
