Conclusions
-
1.
The catalytic hydrogenation of CCl4 proceeds through a stage of formation of free radicals CCl3, which is confirmed by the formation of C2C6l during the reaction.
-
2.
The kinetics of the hydrogenation of CCl4 was studied. The apparent activation energies of the formation of HCl and C2Cl6, as well as the orders of these reactions with respect to hydrogen, were found.
