Conclusions

  1. 1.

    Unlike other known ketenes, bistrifluoromethylketene forms a linear dimer under the action of triethylamine.

  2. 2.

    A new reaction was discovered: the linear dimerization of functional derivatives of perfluoromethacrylic and (difluoromethylene)malonic acids.
