Conclusions

  1. 1.

Previously unknown alkyl trifluorovinyl sulfates were obtained by the reactions of tetrafluoro-2-hydroxyethanesulfonicβ-sultone with dialkyl sulfates and dialkyl sulfites.

  2. 2.

The reactions of tetrafluoro-2-hydroxyethanesulfonicβ-sultone with alkyl sulfites provide a general method for the preparation of alkyl trifluorovinyl sulfates.

  3. 3.

A value of 9.82 was deduced for the refraction of the trifluorovinyl gro ip.
