Summary

  1. 1.

A method of complete structural analysis of mixtures of fatty acids by the method of thin-layer chromatography has been developed.

  2. 2.

A method has been proposed for identifying unsaturated fatty acids, based on the oxidative cleavage of the methyl esters directly in the thin layer of the adsorbent.

  3. 3.

The method is applicable for the study of the fatty acid composition of natural lipids.
