Conclusions

  1. 1.

The activation energies of the dehydrogenation and dehydration of ethanol, n-propanol, isopropanol, n-butanol, and isobutanol, the dehydrogenation of tetralin, and the dehydration of tert-butanol on Tm2O3 were determined.

  2. 2.

Alkyl substituents on the α-carbon atom influence the bond energies of C, H, and O with Tm2O3.
