Summary

The phase transformations have been studied in the process of genesis of a nickel-magnesium aluminum spinel catalyst. It has been confirmed that a decrease in the vacant lattice cation points in the spinel substrate hinders the formation of nickel-aluminum spinel in the oxidation stage of the regeneration of the catalyst.
