Summary

A highly unsaturated triacetylenic hydrocarbon, 1,3,5-triethynylbenzene, was synthesized, and the oxidative polycondensation of this gave a three-dimensional oligomer containing alternating diacetylenic groups and aromatic nuclei in its molecule.
