Summary
-
1.
A measurement has been made of the critical concentration of tri-(3,5-ditert. butyl-4-oxy)benzylamine inhibitor in n-decane oxidation in an open system.
-
2.
The ratio has been found of the elementary rate constants for chain rupture at the inhibitor and the chain continuation rate, ki/k2=7.3·105.
-
3.
The efficiency of tri-(3,5-ditert. butyl-4-oxy)benzylamine as an inhibitor in n-decane oxidation is almost a factor of 2 less than that of α-naphthol.
