Summary

  1. 1.

Organic compounds of silicon and germanium containing a three-membered carbon ring in the molecule have been prepared for the first time.

  2. 2.

Silicon and germanium atoms, when these heteroatoms are in the β-position to the C=C bond, on the yields of the esters of the corresponding cyclopropanecarboxylic acids, which were prepared by the reaction of uasaturated compounds of these elements with diazoacetic ester in the presence of a catalyst.
