    A mechanism has been proposed for the action of phosphorus tribromide as a catalyst.

    The possibility of using phosphorus tribromide as a catalyst has been established.

  3. 3.

    Syntheses with phosphoros tribromide accelerate the process of condensation by 4–5 times without decreasing the yield.
