The relationship between the properties of solutions and the structure of polymers

Communication 4. The study of polyphenylaluminosiloxane solutions

  • Published:
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Division of chemical science Aims and scope

Summary

  1. 1.

A study has bees made of the physicochemical properties of polyphenylaluminosiloxane obtained by double decomposition of phenyl with aluminum salfate.

  2. 2.

The polymer has a cycloreticulate structure.

  3. 3.

The relationship between the characteristic viscosity and the molecular weight has been found. It has been shown that in chlorobenzenz solution at 20°, a = 0.17 and in benzene solution at 20°, a = 0.345.
