Reaction of aromatic amines with vinyl alkyl ethers

Summary

Aromatic amines such as aniline, p-anisidine, and p-bromoaniline in the presence of BF3 etherate react with vinyl alkyl ethers to form 1-alkoxy-tetrahydroquinaldine derivatives.
