Summary
-
1.
(Butylthio)borane polymer reacts with olefinic hydrocarbons, and together with the normal addition products (butyl dialkylthioborinates) trialkylboranes and bisbutylthioborane are formed as a result of symmetrization.
-
2.
By the reaction of (butylthio)borane polymer with 1,5-hexadiene, 1-(butylthio)borepane is formed.
-
3.
(Methylthio)borane polymer adds to olefins with formation of methyl dialkylthioborinates.
-
4.
By the reaction of isoprene with (methylthio)borane polymer, 3-methyl-1-(methylthio)borolane is formed.
