Abstract
Automatic measurement of ɛ, and tan δ is measured from audio to radio frequencies with a transformer bridge. Parasitic frequency errors are eliminated by modulation, the control signal being provided by the envelope. A mathematical description of the sensitivity is given. The block diagram of the complete bridge is given, together with test results for the range 50 Hz to 200 kHz.
