An investigation of electrodeposited cylindrical iron-nickel films of supercritical thickness III. Spontaneous macro- and microstresses in iron-nickel films

  • Published:
Soviet Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

The spontaneous internal macro- and microstresses in electrodeposited cylindrical iron-nickel films were measured in relation to the thickness, composition, prestressing of the backing, application of a technological magnetic field, and speed of motion of the backing through the solution. The results are discussed from the standpoint of the dislocation theory of internal stresses in films.
