Investigation of the hygroscopic properties of peat insulating slabs

  • Published:
Journal of engineering physics Aims and scope

Abstract

Results are given of an experimental investigation ot the hygroscopic properties of peat insulating slabs, and an equation for determining their equilibrium moisture content is presented. The bonding energy of moisture with the material has been determined from sorption isotherms.
