Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

The new instruments can be used to measure the end wobble and deviations from planarity of different articles (including large articles). If the deviation δL of the measured profile from the mean line can be approximated by different harmonics or by series (12), the superimposed planemeter measures its deviation without error. In general, to determine δL the sensor signal must be processed using the definite program (14).

  2. 2.

An instrument with self-adjusting bearings can be used to increase the accuracy of the rotation of different platforms and carriages over nonplane ring tracks.
