Circulation model for describing mixing of solid particles in a fluidized bed

Abstract

We present experimental response curves for the pulsed introduction of labeled (heated) particles into a fluidized system with a noncireulating solid phase, and compare these curves with those calculated by using the circulation and diffusion models.
