Brightness waves in the electroluminescence of zinc sulfide

Abstract

We conducted a study of the electroluminescence of ZnS phosphors with blue emission as excited by unipolar voltage pulses. An origin is proposed for the emission peaks appearing on switching the voltage on and off.
