Gas concentration measurements in boundary layers

Abstract

Modern probe and probeless methods of measuring concentration profiles are reviewed. Boundary-layer processes associated with flow over solids, among them the catalysis of an N+N2 mixture at a metal wall, and hydrogen and methane combustion, are investigated.
