Use of total head tube and mass-flow head to determine the density and velocity of a rarefied gas stream

Abstract

Results are given of an experimental determination of the density and velocity of a rarefied gas stream in the range of M from 3.1 to 9.0 and of Re∞1 from 45 to 1500.
