Summary
Data on experimental study of the possibility of using the reaction of phage titer increase (V. D. Timakov's and D. M. Gol'dfarb's method) for indication of dysentery microorganisms in the organism of infected rabbits is presented. This reaction is based on increase of the titer of the highly sensitive indicator phage in its interaction with the dysentery bacilli in the substrate under investigation. The principle of this reaction allows detection of the causative agents in very small concentrations within a relatively short period of time.
