The influence of bulk effects on the solubility in ordered interstitial alloys

Abstract

The solubility of a third component in a binary bcc ordered interstitial alloy (of the β-brass or Fe3Al types) is analyzed, taking account of the change in the lattice constant as a function of the composition and the degree of long-range order.
